Chemical education literature shows that several research studies have been done on teachers’ and students’ knowledge of electrochemistry concepts. However, no study has reported pre-service teachers’ pedagogical ideas for electrochemistry in middle and high schools. Therefore, this study examined a sample of 66 pre-service science teachers’ pedagogical ideas for electrochemistry in junior and high school classrooms. Data were collected using a semi-structured interview. Detailed results and implications will be presented and discussed.
