Online prelab and postlabs provide a convenient means for students to submit their work and provide for consistent grading for all students. We have developed approximately 35 prelab and postlab forms for Organic Chemistry. The development of the forms now includes a number of important features including automatic student identification using Shibboleth, random number generated questions, a means to draw reaction equations and immediate grading and feedback for the student. We will briefly describe some of these issues and solutions, including management tools for the instructors.
