While scientists and engineers generally recognize nanotechnology as a major field of study and view STEM education as a worthy endeavor, nanotechnology education can be a niche area within any single academic discipline. Finding curriculum resources, collaborators, and venues for disseminating education research findings can be a challenge because the nanotechnology education discipline is so broad. This presentation will offer a brief overview of popular nanotechnology education resources, such as the University of Wisconsin MRSEC Video Lab Manual, and describe several new opportunities for nanotechnology educators to collaborate and share their knowledge and experiences. Chief among these is an online Community of Scholars established through the cCWCS program.
